Thank you so much for supporting Light Up a Life 2025!

Each year, our Light Up a Life service offers a special opportunity to dedicate a light on our beautiful Hospice tree in memory of your loved one. This poignant event brings our community together to reflect, remember, and celebrate the lives of those we hold close, while helping to support care for our patients and their families.

On Sunday 7th December, we celebrated with people from across Oldham and beyond. Despite the very challenging weather on the day, your presence, heartfelt dedications, and willingness to come together in remembrance meant so much to us. Your support made the service truly special.

We are delighted to announce that this year’s Light Up a Life Service raised over £23,000!

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our event sponsor, Roma, as well as our Hospice Readers, Father Gavin Landers, Paul Firth, and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice Choir. We are also grateful to St Joseph’s RC Junior Infant and Nursery School, Crompton House Church of England School, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Oldham Temple, BMS Event Medics, The Oldham Times, Oldham Sixth Form College, Oldham Council, Christmas Plus, and to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice staff and volunteers, along with the Clinical Teams, for their outstanding work and dedication within our community.
