Remember your loved ones with a beautiful metal rose that you can keep forever. You are also welcome to join us in celebration of their lives at our special event this June.
Rose to Remember 2026
Our annual Rose to Remember campaign invites people to celebrate and honour their loved ones with a beautiful metal rose. On Sunday 28 June, we will join together to remember these special people at a touching service in our newly transformed gardens.
The roses cost £20 each and are available to order online, from our reception or via telephone on 0161 624 9984.
Last year’s Rose to Remember campaign raised over £15,000 for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice. With your support, we can help even more patients across Oldham and beyond.
Personalise your Rose to Remember
All of our roses have been lovingly handcrafted by British Ironworks and will be personalised by us with a handwritten leaf. This will include your loved one’s name and a short message, making each one unique.
Each year the colour of the rose changes, so you can create your own memory garden. The colour of this year’s rose – lilac – represents nostalgia, love and the rejuvenation of springtime.
Every £20 rose you dedicate contributes to the vital care of our patients and their families at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
Postage is available for an additional cost of £7.50 per rose. Alternatively, they can be collected from our reception or at the event. All roses will be posted after the event.
Donations of over £30 will receive a collectable Rose to Remember badge.
Event details
Held from 11.30am to 2pm on Sunday 28 June, our Rose to Remember event will include a short service and exclusive viewing of the roses in our dementia-friendly outdoor space.
Along with readings, there will be a choral performance and a small selection of Hospice stalls to browse. There is also the option to book in advance for an afternoon tea provided by our Café K. To find out more or book, email fundraising@drkh.org.uk or call 0161 624 9984.
The impact of your dedication
Making a Rose to Remember dedication and donation helps us to support families like Pippa’s, whose grandad received care from our Inpatient Unit and Hospice at Home teams.
- £20 could help to create treasured moments at the end of life
- £40 could fund bereavement support, including one-to-one counselling and telephone calls for loved ones
- £60 could fund a Hospice at Home visit, bringing comfort and care to patients in their own homes
