Our annual Christmas Fayre took place on Sunday 23rd November 2025
Our 2025 Christmas Fayre raised over £7,500 for patient care
We were thrilled to welcome the community to our Hospice for our Christmas Fayre on Sunday 23rd November 2025. The event was a huge success with over 700 people visiting us for a festive afternoon both inside the Hospice and outside in our Christmas marquee and gazebos.
We had lots of gift stalls outside in our marquee for shoppers to take a look around, live music and dance acts, a DJ, a raffle, a tombola, a giant inflatable snow globe, children’s craft activities and games, Hartley – our loveable Hospice Mascot, Santa’s Stables (festively dressed horse and pony), along with a Grotto for the children to meet Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves and take home a special gift!
Outside in the garden, our attendees enjoyed gourmet smash burgers and loaded fries from Spartan Scran, and mulled wine and festive cocktails from The Secret Garden Drinks pop-up bar. Indoors at Café K the hot food on offer included hot turkey rolls, hot dogs, nachos, along with mince pies, cakes and beverages.
We’re delighted that the fayre raised over £7,500, which will enable us to provide dedicated care and support to so many families across the borough of Oldham.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the event, we hope you had a lovely afternoon and managed to pick up a few early Christmas gifts!
We would also like to thank: our Hospice volunteers, Kershaw’s Krafties, our neighbours and event sponsors – Booth’s Garden Centre, our external stall holders, DJ Patrick Holden, singers from Oldham College, Amy Mackie School of Dance and Drama, Chloe Flynn, photographer Ken Rowlatt, our many corporate volunteers, and of course Mr & Mrs Claus!
Thank you once again to everyone who came out to support the event, we hope you had a lovely time!
Our annual Christmas Fayre will return in November 2026, keep an eye on this page for more details.
