Our 2024 Christmas Fayre raised £7,699.33 for patient care!
We were thrilled to welcome the community to our Hospice for our Christmas Fayre on Sunday 17th November 2024. The event was a huge success with over 600 people visiting us for a festive afternoon both inside the Hospice and outside in our Christmas marquee and gazebos.
We had lots of stalls outside for shoppers to take a look around, live music and dance acts, a DJ, a raffle, a tombola, an inflatable snow globe, children’s craft activities and games, Oliver the pony (in his Christmas outfit), along with a Grotto for the children to meet Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves and take home a special gift!
In Café K and outside in the gardens, our attendees enjoyed the hot food on offer including hot dogs, nachos, along with mince pies, cakes and beverages including mulled wine and gin cocktails! Hartley had a great time meeting our visitors and Santa’s Grotto was a huge hit with the children!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the event, we hope you had a lovely afternoon and managed to pick up a few early Christmas gifts! We would also like to thank: our Hospice volunteers, Kershaw’s Krafties, Booth’s Garden Centre, our external stall holders, Andy Russell, Matt Ramsbottom, Denis Ferrige, Narrowgate Farm, Jayne Barnes Dance, Oldham Roughyeds, Tesco Greenfield, Tesco Oldham, Asda Chadderton, Character Options, BidFood, Cissie Barlow’s Traditional Sweet Shop, M People Recruitment, CBRE Property Management, Hays Travel, Shaw & Crompton Town Council, and of course Mr & Mrs Claus!
Your amazing support means so much to our Hospice, our patients and their loved ones,
during the festive period and beyond.
