Management of Mild Anxiety & Sleeplessness

Course Details

This course will look at ways to support patients who are struggling with anxiety and disordered sleeping including relaxation and meditation techniques, sleep hygiene and Complementary Therapies.

Who is This Course for?

Staff supporting patients affected by anxiety and sleeplessness in day centres or rehab settings.

Less suitable for those providing care in acute settings.

What Will the Course Cover?

  • How anxiety affects thoughts, behaviours and the body
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Complementary Therapies
  • Sleep hygiene

None.

How Will the Course be Taught?

Face-to-face delivery in a group, involving some group work or work in pairs.
