Delegation

Course Details

This course asks the question – What is Delegation? and looks at why we need to delegate. Delegation is not always an easy thing to do or can be over-done so the effects of this are considered along with the key steps you can take to be a successful delegator!

Who is This Course for?

Staff who manage others to whom they need to delegate work to.

What Will the Course Cover?

  • What is delegation?
  • Why we need to be able to delegate?
  • Why delegation isn’t easy and doesn’t always work out?
  • What are the effects of under/over delegation?
  • Key steps to successful delegation

Pre-Course Requirements

None, but if you have a staff member to delegate to already then this session will be a good one to attend. Anyone can attend even if you don’t currently have anyone to delegate to – delegation tips and techniques are great to learn anyway!
