Supporting our Catering Team
Our busy Catering Team rely on our volunteers to help with food preparation for both our Inpatient Unit and our busy onsite café, Café K. We offer a wide range of hot and cold food, daily specials, snacks and cakes to patients, their families and visitors, and our staff.
Catering and Café K volunteers help during regular weekly timeslots. These are typically within the hours of 9am and 3pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability. Times will be confirmed with you in advance.

When volunteering as part of our busy Catering Team, your role will be busy and varied. Duties could include:
- Serving Wellbeing Centre patients, visitors and staff in Café K
- Food preparation in our catering kitchen
- Delivering food, drinks and snacks to patients and visitors in our Inpatient Unit,
- Stock rotation
- Assisting our cooks
- Pot washing
