If you are buying new furniture and want your old items to go to a good home, please contact us. Your unwanted furniture could provide much-needed funds to support patient care at our Hospice. Drop off your items to us, or access our free furniture collection service.
About the store
The Furniture Hub is located just five minutes away from Dr Kershaw’s Hospice. There is a large car park with free customer parking at the front of the store, plus access to a loading bay for easy drop-offs and collections. The store is also a five-minute walk from Derker tram stop.
The Furniture Hub sells affordable, high-quality new and used furniture, ranging from small coffee tables to three piece suites. Furniture can be delivered at a small cost to local destinations, and we offer free furniture collection on eligible items.

We accept…
- Upholstered furniture: sofas – (must include fire labels)
- Occasional furniture: coffee & lamp tables
- Dining furniture: sideboards, dining sets (chairs must include fire labels), display cabinets
- Bedroom furniture: beds, mattresses, drawer units, dressing tables, wardrobes
- Mirrors / pictures
- Books
- Bric-a-brac
- Clothing can be dropped off for our other shops
- Retro or designer men’s clothing or shoes or vinyl records for us to sell in The Vault
We don't accept…
- Rolled / venetian blinds
- Damaged, broken, incomplete or unsafe items
- Safety equipment (car seats, crash /cycle helmets or riding hats)
- Real fur or ivory products
- Personal hygiene equipment (foot spas, shavers) unless new & sealed
- Duvets, pillows (unless new & sealed), electric blankets & hot water bottles
- Mobility equipment: wheelchairs, walkers, bath / shower aids, scooters
- Stained or soiled mattresses
- Christmas trees
- White goods / electric /gas fires or surrounds
- Any electricals with the exception of audio or lighting
- Tables without chairs / chairs without tables / single standard armchairs / dark wood, e.g. mahogany furniture
- Prams, cots, moses baskets, toys
