5-star catering at Café K!

The Dr Kershaw’s Catering Team has been awarded an incredible 5-star hygiene rating following an unannounced inspection from Oldham Council’s Food Safety/Standards Department

Gail Robertshaw, our Catering Manager, said: “I am pleased to report that once again our Catering Department has received the highest rating of five stars. That’s 18 years running (since the FSA’s introduction of the Safer Food Better Business Star Grading System).

“I am very proud of the Hospice Catering Team and our wonderful volunteers, who work hard every day to maintain our high standards. Our new 5-star certificate is now proudly displayed on the main entrance door and the main kitchen door.”

The Catering Team plans out all of the meals served across the Hospice, for patients, family members and staff. They come up with high quality and healthy meal ideas and working hard to prepare nutritional home cooked meals.
