Quality Lead – Part time (14 month – Fixed-Term – Maternity Leave Cover)

Do you have:

  • Experience of working within a policy and governance framework?
  • The ability to provide quality monitoring information to support compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations?
  • Knowledge and experience of incident investigations and reporting?
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work effectively within a small team?

  • Work under pressure whilst managing multiple priorities and projects
  • Carry out administrative tasks and confidently design and use spreadsheets and databases
  • Problem solve, think creatively, and adapt to changing deadlines
  • Analyse information and present findings in a clear and meaningful way

This is a key role within the Hospice, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and ensuring that quality, compliance, and governance remain at the heart of everything we do. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation and reporting to senior leadership, you will:

  • Manage, develop, and maintain the Hospice’s quality and compliance systems
  • Support the organisation’s compliance with CQC regulations and standards
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on quality assurance and governance information
  • Investigate incidents, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve practice
  • Monitor and interpret changes in legislation, regulation, and national guidance
  • Support the CEO and senior leaders in preparing evidence and documentation for CQC inspections and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Contribute to maintaining a strong risk management framework across the organisation

Salary: £39,959 to £48,117 pro rata (dependent on experience)
