Dr Kershaw’s is looking for you!

We treat all our staff, patients, and volunteers with the utmost respect and dignity and are compassionate to their needs in this ever-changing world. If you align with our values, then Dr Kershaw’s is the place for you; start a new career today and join our growing team that puts our local community and our patients at the heart of everything we do!
Dr Kershaw’s is an independent Hospice serving the people of Oldham and surrounding districts and a registered charity. Since 1989, our mission has been to add quality to the lives of those with a life limiting illness. See more about our Hospice here.
A major part of the role is liaising with teams across the Hospice and communicating effectively with our external audiences, at all levels, to raise our profile.
Our income is supported by our events which focus on supporter engagement, supporter growth & cultivation, remembrance & fun activities, and awareness raising. This is also vital in this role as our plans for the next 2 – 3 years, to meet our strategic objectives 2025-2028, include further growth following the construction of a new Inpatient Unit, to enable us to continue to serve our community.
To achieve all this, we need enthusiastic, self-motivated and pro-active people who are focused, with an attention to detail and who share our values.
